Zoe Brookes (nee Hyett)
I am the founder of Media Matters and hold an honours degree in Music, specialising in drumming, with a written dissertation in new media.
I have studied across the South Coast including at Brighton Institute of Modern Music and the Isle of Wight's own musical institution, Platform One.
Since completing my degree, I have thrown myself into work experience and management, helping various local businesses from micro to large, to raise their social profiles, create engaging content, design bespoke artwork and organise events.
Due to having a young family to provide for in recent years, I have worked in a full time roles at The Beacon Magazine, Isle of Wight County Press and now at the Isle of Wight College, but maintain a level of active freelance work (at my employer's discretion)
I will always put 100% into a project, delivering the personal touch that Media Matters is so well known for now.
